Wow! What an amazing year. This was my first year at NLCS Dubai and it has certainly been one to remember. You have given me the best year imaginable and memories to last a lifetime and for that I am truly thankful.

There is so much to write about; it has been hard to choose what to say. So here goes…

As I reflect on our year together, I am filled with gratitude and pride. You have all grown so much since the beginning of the school year, and it has been an honor to watch you learn and develop as individuals.

The thing that resonates with me the most is all of your passion, dedication and resilience that you all put into your learning – it is inspirational. Every single day has been enjoyable and for me, I have also grown as a person, whilst teaching you and especially when we have had our classroom dialogues and thinking sessions where we discuss feelings, aspirations and our inspirational quotes for the day. Our mood meter has allowed me to know and understand all of you and we have grown together as a team. You have all become a community of adventurous readers and I hope this lasts a lifetime.

You have all shone in your own ways. Sienna, Cara, Remi for your outstanding confidence; Alexandra, Anna, Maaheen for your determination and principled nature; and Diana, Anastasia, Jacob and Jules for your positive energy and kindness. Amar and Kabir for your impeccable manners and conversation. Humza, Aryan and Aesan, thank you for your thirst for challenge, especially with those morning starters. Keshav, Harry and Raina how you have grown this year, highlighted in your stage performances. Amaya, Amelia and Andrew, your maths brains have challenged mine!

There is a myriad of qualities I could mention – you are all very special, inspirational individuals with determination and drive and I want to say a big thank you for making my year so special.
