My dearest Arabian Gazelles,
As another incredibly busy academic year draws to an end, I am filled with a sense of both pride and sadness to be composing these words. From the very first day you walked into the Arabian Gazelles’ classroom in September, where we began with fundamental concepts across the curriculum, to exploring the multifaceted corners of critical thinking, creativity and problem solving, we have journeyed together, strived with fervor and achieved feats beyond our wildest imagination. It has been a truly humbling experience to witness the growth, perseverance and progress that you have made, both individually and collectively.
Along with the 3Cs, you have exhibited academic courage, collaboration, curiosity and determination. Your enthusiasm for learning has burned brightly like the glowing embers of a roaring fire, casting a radiance that has touched and illuminated all members of the NLCS community you have interacted with.
Your inquiring minds have soaked up knowledge like a parched earth in a rainstorm, blossoming into prismatic gardens of ideas and innovation. You have grown into independent thinkers, responsible Global citizens and confident leaders who possess the confidence to surmount any challenge that the future might have in store.
As you prepare to embark on a new phase of this academic odyssey, I encourage you to carry with you the cherished memories that we have forged together, such as the Residential to Shawka, the Grade 4 Founder’s Dap play and the Booknic, along with the many invaluable lessons you have learned throughout the year.
Do not be afraid to be daring and bold, to form and defend your opinions, and to step outside your comfort zones, for that is where discovery thrives and where character is built. Use your formidable skills to create change, spread joy and make the world a better place.
In closing, I would like to extend my profound gratitude to you, and to your supportive families who have placed their trust in me to guide and nurture you. It has been my utmost privilege to be your teacher this year and to watch you bloom into the remarkable individuals that you are today. I have no doubt that you will continue to soar to great heights in Grade 5.
My final message to you, my Arabian Gazelles, is to always remember the words of BB King, “The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you.”
