O – Over the year, you have become a fantastically supportive team to one another!
U - Umm Al Quwain will remain a firm favourite with you all for some time to come! Whether it was on the climbing wall, in the kayak or staying away from home, you all challenged yourself to try something new and push yourself out of your comfort zone.
T - Time flies when you are having fun and we had lots of fun playing in the rain!
S - Sport’s Day let you all earn a mountain of house points.
T – Travelling to ‘Ellis Island, New York’ and facing those formidable immigration officers will never be forgotten!
A - Adventura Park gave you all the chance to stretch your limits and explore the human body by making working models.
N - National Day was celebrated in style with fairground games, delicious food and woodwork crafts!
D – Displaying your learning at our Body Systems exhibition gave you all a sense of pride and achievement. You all worked so hard on your projects!
I - International Day picnic was a special event with friends, exploring our differing cultures.
N – Never Give Up! We have worked hard to develop our Growth Mindset and inner voices this year.
G - Green Planet was a trip that really opened our eyes to the wonderful ecosystems of the world and prompted lots of discussions about a class pet!
O – Oranges helped us to visualise the Earth’s crust when we explored how the world works. Food is always a winner!
W - World Book Day gave you the chance to celebrate and share your love of reading and favourite stories.
L – Learning to work with others during out group collage art project, we achieved so much! I was so proud of you when you were able to share this skill with the KG1 Flamingos class when we created our joint reflection piece in celebration of Founder’s Day.
S – Superhero Day was a fabulous day of comics and drama, inspired by The Astounding Broccoli Boy book!
