With boundless enthusiasm and curious minds, The Grade One Sand Cats were one of a kind. Seven-year-olds full of energy and wonder, Ready to learn and grow, as they ponder.

At first, they were hesitant and shy, A bit apprehensive but they got by. But as the year went on, they grew resilient, Their confidence shining and they were brilliant.

Their laughter filled the classroom air, As they learned to read, write and share. They discovered the world beyond their doors, And on school trips, they further explored.

They learned to count and add and subtract. And their knowledge grew, no longer abstract. They made new friends and learned to play, Together they’d grow, day by day.

The Sand Cats learned to respect each other, And they grew kinder and gentler, with no fuss or bother. Their imaginations soared to new heights, As they created new worlds, both big and bright.

Now the year draws to a close, Each Sand Cat has blossomed, like a rose. They have evolved and they have grown, Their future is bright as their effort has shown.
