Dear my Superstar Sharks, I am so proud I was your teacher. I watched you learn and grow. We worked so hard and had such fun. You have demonstrated so many incredible skills that have impressed me across the year.

Firstly, your dedication to your house teams has been wonderful to see. You have worked hard every single week to gain stars and encourage each other to be role models in the classroom. Your team spirit attitude also shone through during our KG2 sports day where you worked hard together in your house teams to gain points at each sporting event. You communicated well with each other and showed risk taking qualities when trying out each event.

Secondly, you impressed me with your excitement for reading across the year from our class novel ‘Fing’ by David Walliams to our weekly library sessions where you showed your thirst for discovering new books and loved being read to by Mrs Mendoza. Not forgetting your excitement to share your favourite books you brought into school on World Book Day.

Additionally, you demonstrated your creative side when making your own dioramas by adding excellent details. For example, you created your animals using clay and used your knowledge of living things to clearly communicate why your animal lived in the habitat you chose for it.

Lastly, I will cherish the memories we made on all the adventures we had in KG2 but a special highlight was our trip to Dubai Safari park. You loved learning lots of exciting facts about different animals on our safari experience and most of all enjoyed feeding the giraffes. We even made fact files in English linked to all the information we gathered from our school trip.

As we say goodbye to KG2, your new chapter in Grade One is just about to begin. This is your year to sparkle. Remember you are all capable of amazing things.

Kind wishes, Mrs

Wren and Mrs Cecilia

Teacher: Miss Reid

The Turtles class have had an amazing year and I am so pleased with how you all have developed, progressed, and matured. We have had some wonderful trips over the course of the year, and it has been wonderful to see the children learning in a variety of environments in and outside of school. We have seen some amazing learning journeys this year and you should all be very proud with your achievements.

Terrifically talented in every way,

Understanding, empathetic and they love to play.

Real friends made that will last forever,

Thoughtful thinkers and loving dancing together.

Lively and lovely every single day,

Excelling and developing in lots of different ways,

Striving to be the best that they can be! Miss Reid and Ms Rose will miss you, that is guaranteed!

I will miss our dancing sessions, especially dancing to the Friday song to celebrate the end of the week! I have thoroughly enjoyed playing hairdressers at lunchtimes with the girls and receiving lots of beautiful and creative pictures to fill up my wall. I have loved our creative Language lessons and innovating fantastic stories of our own over the course of the year, but I will definitely miss the looks on your faces when the aliens came to school, and the Giant made a mess in our playground!

The Turtles class this year have been absolutely fantastic, and I cannot believe how fast this year has gone! I will miss you all so much. You have never failed to brighten up my day and I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching and getting to know you all as individuals. It has been an honour and a privilege to teach you this year and I wish you all the best of luck for Grade One.
