The KG2 students have been extremely lucky to visit a variety of different locations across Dubai for their school trips throughout the academic year. Their first trip included Little Explorers. Little Explorers gave the students the opportunity to visit its five features zones that are dedicated to different educational themes such as science, technology, arts and culture. The students had a lot of fun exploring and discovering new things.

The student’s next adventure was to Dubai Safari. It features three main sections: Safari Village, Arabian Village and Asian Village. The students were able to see a wide variety of animals, including lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants and much more. The safari journey was a highlight, where the students received a guided tour whilst on the bus. The guides were a wealth of information and ensured that the students received all the information that they needed. The students were curious throughout out time at the park and asked many questions and read all the information that was available to them.

In the cooler months we visited XPark Jr. It features a range of activities that allow the students to get a full outdoors experience of den building, camp fire building. The park provided a safe and challenging environment for children to play and develop their physical and cognitive skills.

Our final trip of 2023 and in KG2 was the Mirzam Chocolate Factory in Al Quoz. The students were able to find out where chocolate originates from, learn about the history of chocolate and see how it is made. The students were able to they made their own chocolate creations and designed the packaging for the bars. We were even treated to the factories homemade hot chocolate and brownies! The trip was a firm favourite giving the students an interactive and educational experience.
