Owlets Pre KG
Dear Owlets, It has been a pleasure to be your teacher this year. I have loved watching you grow and develop and seeing your personalities come out in the classroom. Watching you all become more independent, strong-willed, and confident children is my biggest privilege. I have a lot to be grateful for this year, for the times you have made me laugh, with your stories, games and ideas. For the times you have made me feel immense pride when you have finally understood a concept you have worked so hard on. For the times you have shone, walking through assembly at Founder’s Day or singing so beautifully in your Winter Concert. I will miss getting to spend my day learning with you, but I know whichever teacher you get next will see how special you are. Lots of Love,
Miss Morgan

The students begin their NLCS journey by inquiring into play and how it can help them learn more about themselves, their environment and their peers. Not only does this enable them to understand the importance of shared expectations and classroom routines, but it sparks their intellectual curiosity ahead of meaningful play-based exploration. As such, there was no better place for the Pre-KG students first school trip than ‘Woohoo Children’s Museum’.
The students were immersed in zones designed to challenge different skills and logic-based understanding, such as navigating through a maze, climbing nets, digging for artefacts and moving objects within water play. It was a fun-filled day for all, completed with some afternoon naps on the bus back to school.
