Junior School News HOUSE COMPETITIONS By Nicola Ali
It has been a wonderful year for the students at NLCS Dubai who have taken part in a variety of House events and
competitions to build that sense of House spirit in the Junior School. The House breakfasts have been very successful and have enabled our youngest students to feel a sense of House belonging. Our House Captains were also given the opportunity to engage with the students across the whole Junior School during this time. The students teamed up with Student Council to create a “Trashion Show” whereby they had to recycle materials in order to make clothing. The students were very engaged in this event, adding House colours to their outfits to get some extra points. Students from PreKG to G5 took part and we look forward to hosting the event next year too. Our NLCS Talent Show was also very successful, allowing students to showcase their talents across all aspects such as sports, music, drama and so much more. I am excited to see what the children can do for their Houses in the coming academic year.
