We dealt with subzero temperatures, ice, snow, water main problems and fires. The devastating fire at Paupack Hills Country Club destroyed a location manyTLCA members and their guests enjoyed. Thankfully, the owners have stated their intention to rebuild. We also had a fire in our trash compactor. It is important that only household trash is put in the compactor. Thanks to Tafton Fire Department for their efforts to protect our community.

This winter the Board took the following actions:

Contracted for paving our streets as soon as possible so that residents will not have to contend with construction this summer,

Contracted for the second phase of sediment removal from Lake Tanglwood, and

Installed traffic calming speed signs.

Finally, our committees are always looking for members. We especially need parents of children to run children’s programs. If you are interested in volunteering for any of our committees, please send your information to the Chalet via email at bethtl@ptd.net or ralphtl@ptd.net.
