80 cumulative average or higher in NUSTEP courses Enroll at Niagara the fall semester immediately after high school

• NUSTEP participants are considered Niagara University students, granting them discounts for campus events and games, free admission to the Castellani Art Museum, and more.
• Participating in NUSTEP entitles students to a $3,000 annual scholarship at NU (totaling $12,000 over four years)!
Who can apply?
Grade 11 and 12 Students

with a cumulative average in their academic subjects (math, English, science, social studies, and languages) of 80 or above. ~
These decisions are made by the guidance department in conjunction with the local high school instructors who will teach the NUSTEP courses.
Note: Acceptance in a NUSTEP course is not a guarantee of admission to Niagara University as an undergraduate degree candidate.
Registration and Tuition
NUSTEP courses are offered at a significantly reduced tuition rate. Current tuition $140 CAD per credit hour (no free/reduced lunch tuition rate).
Registration is online only at niagara.edu/nustep-ontario.
Fall Registration: Oct. 1 - Oct. 22, 2025
Spring Registration: Feb. 4 - Feb. 23, 2026
All completed courses and grades reflected on student’s university transcript and GPA
Payment
Tuition must be paid online through our payment portal, Touchnet CA, within the payment period:
Fall Payment: Nov. 4 - Nov. 24, 2025
Spring Payment: March 6 - March 27, 2026
