Readiness and Engagement
Objective: to ensure readiness across people, places, and processes
The goal is to ensure successful implementation of the new Hospital Information System (HIS) by preparing leaders and end users for go-live. This strategy focuses on promoting user readiness, engagement, and effective communication, critical to a successful conversion and go-live.
Readiness Activities:
April 15 - 30
• Highlight how the new system improves patient care, streamlines processes, and addresses physician and prescriber concerns.
Clinical Process Review – May 28 – June 3
The Clinical Process Review (CPR) is a major milestone in the Operation Monarch journey. It is an opportunity to showcase high volume workflows and develop strategies for implementing process changes.
The purpose of the CPR is to build up foundational knowledge related to the technical functionality and terminology of the new HIS, identify key workflow changes and how those changes will impact daily tasks for clinicians.
