Workshop Four Workshop four is currently underway and involves validating foundational workflows. Introductions to include: • medication integration • orders to scheduling • lab workflow integration Data validation to include: • nursing documentation

It's imperative that we continue to have engagement throughout these sessions to maintain alignment and standardization across Niagara Health and Hotel Dieu Shaver, and to maintain our project timelines. 6


Workshop Meeting Reminders • If you're unable to participate or find yourself in several concurrent sessions, consider assigning tasks to another member of your team. • Project Monarch meetings are typically arranged at least four weeks ahead of time to allow for

reviewing agendas, task distribution, and questions. • Our aim is to empower end users and subject matter experts to contribute to 70-to-80 per cent of decisions; your input holds significant value. • Collaborative efforts are essential in reaching the objectives of our organization, programs and departments.

• Keep the energy going to stick to project schedules and secure a positive result for Project Monarch.

Training Highlights • Training will begin Spring 2024 • Learning Journeys consist of e-learning, tip sheets, simulations, videos and documents • Sandbox environment will allow everyone to practice in a training environment • Learning lab will provide in-person training • Favourites Fair will be held prior to go live to confirm passwords and set system preferences • Super Users will be recruited early 2024 • A team of at-the-elbow support will available during go live • Training resources will be available post go live • This is going to be the best training that any EMR has ever seen! 10


Communications Updates • Meet Diane Moore: Hired to NH in May for Public/Media Relations and now joining team Project Monarch as the Senior Communications Specialist on an interim basis. • Monarch Mondays are released every Friday in the leadership email; copies are sent to site leads on Mondays, posted on SourceNet, and included in NH News. • Changes are coming to the Project Monarch SourceNet page with a new menu and more detailed information about Who's Who. • Be on the look-out for training specialists in the New Year as they make their way across NH sites to visit huddles and share the good project news. 11


Communication Updates Reminders: • Sign the vision statement poster on your huddle board (pictured to the right). If you don't see one, ask your manager. • Read the FAQs posted on SourceNet which are updated regularly.
