Network of Religious Communities MEDIA ALERT For Immediate Release “Promoting the Unity in the Human Race” Is the theme of the 39th Annual Multi-Faith Thanksgiving Celebration co-sponsored by the NFJC of WNY, Inc. and the Network of Religious Communities which is open to all cultures, faiths, and traditions. Hindu, Sikh, Baha’i, Christian, Jewish, Native American, and Islam, are some of the cultural traditions that are participating together in this special and unique service. This FREE virtual community celebration takes place Thursday, November 18, 2021, 7:00-8:00 PM and can be viewed by following: bit.ly/ThanksBuffalo21 Thanksgiving is an opportunity for all to reflect on our individual and collective responses to healing of the soul, spirit, relations, and our community. Through readings, music, and sharing of traditions, we will uplift participants during these challenging times at this community gathering. This unique service, unlike any other in our area, provides an opportunity to hear from many traditions in one moving and inspiring hour. In conjunction with the NFJC’s mission of bringing people together, a representative from WNYRAC will speak on the ongoing preparations to welcome Afghan Evacuees to WNY. Join us this Thurs.
