It provides consumers and interested parties with information on food and nutrition issues that are relevant, easily available and scientifically correct. FACS is administered by SAAFoST and is run by a committee comprised of members representing the Association, SANCU, ADSA, NSSA and the Department of Health: Directorate of Food Control.
