We’re delighted to showcase 25 of Fred. Olsen’s September to December 2026 sailings from regional ports around the UK, including Southampton, Portsmouth, Dover, Liverpool, and Newcastle.
The Journey Planners at Fred. Olsen have been busy crafting this new and exciting programme of sailings, ranging from autumnal adventures to wintry escapes and festive getaways. A standout highlight is the Fleet Fiesta reunion in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, offering winter warmth and memorable celebrations.
Back by popular demand, ‘You Choose Your Cruise’ lets you vote for each port of call as you sail, resulting in a unique itinerary every time. Plus, there’s a 32-night Caribbean voyage, a brand-new ‘Mystery Cruise’ with secret ports, and itineraries timed to coincide with the Geminid meteor shower and Germany’s Christmas markets.
In addition to our collection of brand-new sailings, you can also enjoy exclusive offers on a range of 2025 departures with late availability. From free on-board spend on selected cruises of up to £330 per person to discounted prices, get more for your money when you book your next cruising adventure with Newmarket Holidays.
You’ll notice that Fred. Olsen’s pricing is now simpler, clearer, and includes even more value. Alongside full-board dining, entertainment, and enrichment talks, guests will enjoy complimentary guided walks ashore, shuttle buses for ports over a mile away from the ship, and fitness centre access and classes.
Port taxes, fees and gratuities are also included, along with their satisfaction guarantee. Itineraries will include house beer and wine, and draught soft drinks with lunch and dinner, so you can savour every moment, knowing everything is taken care of.

This flagship vessel proudly bears the name of Fred. Olsen’s great grandmother, Bolette. Exuding a classic, elegant style, and featuring spacious and comfortable public areas, with just 690 cabins, it leads the fleet of smaller ships by example.
Bolette provides guests with plenty of space to relax within the bars, lounges, theatres and wide open deck spaces. In the Observatory, you’ll be able to enjoy one of the Signature Experiences of cruising, through the large panoramic windows – the perfect accompaniment to the commentary you’ll receive as you learn more about the waterways and fjords you’ll be sailing along.
The sister ship of the flagship Bolette, Borealis joined the fleet in 2020, and is suited for enjoying cruising of the world’s lesser-known waterways. Sit back as you glide past remarkable landscapes and historical sites to view the beauty of the natural world.
Redecorated and refurbished when she joined the fleet in order to meet the high standards of the Olsen family, Borealis features a wonderful series of lounges, bars, elegant restaurants and wide open deck spaces, as well as 702 beautiful cabins and suites. From January 2026, Borealis will be exclusively for adults, so you can relax in the company of other like-minded guests.
Balmoral is the smallest ship in the fleet, and is well-loved by long-standing guests. She has wonderful facilities –six world-class restaurants, seven bars and lounges, two swimming pools and lovely sprawling open decks, which are ideal for when Balmoral is cruising.
The Spey and Avon restaurants offer spectacular views out to sea while you dine, and the Observatory Lounge really comes to life with Signature Experiences of cruising, or the Ship at Sea sessions. Her smaller size is also a huge asset when it comes to creating itineraries that go off the beaten track and into less visited ports and waterways.
From the moment you step aboard, your Fred. Olsen cruise is designed to be more than just a holiday. It’s an immersive experience where every detail is carefully considered. Whether you’re savouring exquisite dining, indulging in enriching signature experiences, or simply relaxing in the comfort of your well-appointed cabin, every element of your journey is crafted with warmth, charm, and a personal touch. With a focus on exceptional service, handcrafted itineraries, and a welcoming atmosphere, these ships provide the perfect setting to explore the world while feeling right at home. Let Fred. Olsen take you on a journey where the voyage itself is just as special as the destinations you visit.
Dining is an important part of your cruise and there is always plenty of variety for you to enjoy. Delicious five-course dining in the main restaurants; speciality Asian dining at the signature restaurants, Vasco and Colours and Tastes; more casual dining at our sumptuous buffets; and, on Bolette and Borealis, there’s a menu of light bites at the poolside during the day.
All of the food is freshly prepared onboard, including the mouthwatering delicious homemade bread. The restaurant teams take great pride in the food they prepare for you and they love nothing more than to chat and share their passion with you. Of course, the warm and attentive waiting team are always on-hand to assist you, too.
Fred. Olsen believe that a cruise is very different from a holiday. A cruise is about being out there on the ocean, exploring the world from the vantage point of the sea, enjoying the journey itself, not just the destinations. They like to focus on that feeling of boarding your ship for the first time, the excitement of visiting new places, and the warmth and conviviality of the on-board teams, ensuring you’re valued and well looked after - as they say in Norway, ‘I det beste selskap’ - in the best of company.
Onboard every cruise and alongside all the lovely food, drink, entertainment and activities you’d expect, you can also enjoy signature experiences.
Beyond the signature experiences, there is so much more to enjoy while you’re on board. You’ll find a copy of the Daily Times in your cabin every evening. This will tell you all about the activities and events available on the following day.
Interior Cabins | These suites are situated along the centre of the cruise ship inside the hull, so they don’t have a window to the outside. However they’re cosy, well-lit and great if you’re looking to save your money for other parts of your trip.
Ocean View Cabins | These cabins are on the lower levels and have a picturesque window or porthole that looks out to the sea. The window won’t open, but they’re perfect for sunrises, sunsets, and watching the coastlines drift by.
Balcony Suite | These welcoming suites provide modern amenities and ample room to relax, both inside and on a private balcony.
Terrace Cabin | Promenade decks have a covered walkway between the cabins and the sides of the ship. It’s where people will relax and watch the world go by. The Terrace Cabins also have a full-height, one-way mirrored door and window, so guests can step right out of their cabin onto the terrace.
Premier Suite | These suites have a host of extras, including a larger floor area and balcony, and are on the higher decks. These are noticeably more spacious than the others and contain a bath, floorto-ceiling windows, and a dressing room.
Olsen Suite | This is one of the premium Fred. Olsen Suites, and there are usually just two or four of them on a whole ship. They’re larger than Premier Suite Cabins and are based just behind the bridge, featuring a king-size bed, extra amenities and a separate large bath and shower. Perfect for entertaining friends, each one also has a dining room, dressing room, living room, guest toilet and a butler’s kitchen.
Heading the list of highlights from Fred. Olsen’s autumn to winter 2026 sailings calendar are three very special voyages, bringing the entire fleet together in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for an extraordinary celebration at sea.
This exciting fleet reunion promises to be a wish-list moment on these island-hopping adventures, offering guests the chance to be part of a truly special maritime occasion. A day of fun, festivities, and exclusive on-board experiences is planned, allowing both customers and crew to come together in a unique setting, filled with entertainment, camaraderie, and the spirit of exploration that makes Fred. Olsen cruises so special.
With each itinerary carefully designed to showcase the beauty, culture, and warmth of the Canary Islands and beyond, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sail in style, connect with fellow travellers, and create memories to last a lifetime.
