Newlight brings together the experience of two of Australia’s longest running and most successful event production companies, Showcorp and Videoplus, to create a single entity with a clear vision of the future of events. Newlight combines event infrastructure, state of the art technical expertise, creative event experience and delivery capability - all under one roof to provide fully integrated solutions for our customers.

Have some fun Not all events are about business, Newlight’s Creative team thrives on having fun and are very good at putting on a party. We have produced special events and parties in every kind of venue across Australia and into South East Asia; From a Priscilla themed gala dinner in a marquee at Uluru to award dinners in 5 star hotels, galas at the SCG, fundraisers at the Hordern Pavillion, private parties overlooking Sydney Harbour and everything in between. Newlight can provide all the creative, technical, theming and production skills to make your special event unforgettable. We also provide outdoor lighting in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation as part of Global Illumination, most recently “pinking” Fort Denison. Technical Delivery
Technical Delivery is key to the success of your event Poor technical design, sub standard audiovisual equipment or unskilled operators can compromise the message, the focus, the enjoyment of any presentation or function. To ensure excellence in Technical Delivery, Newlight maintains its own inventory of high quality vision, lighting and audio equipment along with highly trained set-up crew and operators. Led by a Technical Production Manager or Technical Director, we create event specific teams that are specialists in their field who see your event through from preparation in the warehouse to the end of the show. Newlight takes pride in providing superior audiovisual services and event staging equipment for a diverse range of events, from a single display monitor for a lunchtime presentation to complete production for a conference, gala or concert.
Large Format Projection
Dataton Watchout Large Format Projection Watchout is a flexible and dynamic large screen projection format that takes on-screen production to a new level. Utilising multiple, soft edge blended images to create a single panoramic presentation, Watchout can be used to project imagery onto any size surface or combination of display devices. The system allows the seamless integration of video, audio, graphics, animations, stills and text to create truly memorable and engaging presentations. Video Production
Video Production Whether you are looking for a record of your event, a candid highlight package, a training film, testimonial package, television commercial or any other on-screen project, Newlight is your one stop on screen content provider. We can shoot and edit in DV, HDV, SD Digital, and Full HD with our edit suites running the latest version of Final Cut Pro along with Logic Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Motion as well as Cinema 4D for brilliant 3D rendering. From slide and video preparation to full multi-media production, your audience will enjoy the results of the latest broadcast quality digital technology in the hands of Newlight’s creative professionals.
Live Event Recording and Webcasting Newlight can provide a choice of shoot-and-edit packages for your event, which can then be disseminated online through your intranet, or social media. And if you need instant broadcast of your event, Newlight can provide worldwide webcasting services in conjunction with our webcast partner Redback.
The Work We Do
Conferences Newlight Event Creation provides Event Production, Creative Services and Technical Delivery for meetings and conferences of any size, in any location, at any time.
Small Conferences and Meetings Newlight has Small Conference and Meeting Packages to cater for events with fewer than 50 people. The packages can include boardroom projectors and screens, large LCD monitors with stands, small audio systems, even white boards and flipcharts. The equipment can be set up and removed from any venue including hotels, meeting rooms, boardrooms and restaurants. We can also provide a dedicated Technical Manager to operate during your presentation if required.
Larger Conferences For conferences, seminars and other meetings with greater numbers, Newlight provides tailored solutions to answer any brief. With in-house Event Production, Creative and Technical teams, we have the capability to deliver your event to the highest level anywhere you choose. We can provide any of our services individually allowing you the freedom of adding just those elements that you need, or we can provide you with a single point of contact for all your event requirements.
Conferences Roadshows Newlight are specialists in the Art of Roadshow, with vast experience in delivering the same event in a consistent and seamless manner in differing venues across any city, state or country. Depending on the scale and complexity of the event, a Newlight Technical or Event Producer will travel with your roadshow ensuring that the show you saw on day one of the roadshow is the same as the show you see at the end of the tour.
International Conferences and other events held overseas hold their own special challenges. Newlight is experienced in remote Event Production particularly in the Asia Pacific region including the provision and management of local technical suppliers and event producers, as well as the full suite of our services.
