Application Process
Begin by completing the NEC application at apply.nec.edu.
These documents are reviewed for admission:
• Completed application for admission
• High school transcript
• College transcript (for transfer students)
• International students—Go to nec.edu/international for details.
NEC has a rolling admission process. That means that applications and transcripts are reviewed when they are received.
Transfer Students
NEC is “transfer friendly!”
You can transfer up to 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree at NEC. You will receive your transfer credit evaluation within two weeks of being accepted.
Financial Aid
To determine your eligibility for federal financial aid, you should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Go to studentaid.gov and use NEC’s federal code: 002579. Make sure to complete the FAFSA for the year you will start college. For example, if you are starting in the fall of 2026, complete the FAFSA for the 2026–2027 school year.
