Cuban jazz

An open air woodland performance

This 7-piece band Cuban jazz band recently received a 4 star review in The Guardian for their 4th and latest album Junio Groove. They play great, slinky and rhythmic dance music that makes you want to slink along to it with a rum cocktail in your hand!

Building on the success of last year’s performance the children of Parracombe School present an imaginative dance, drama and musical recreation of a journey from the high, windswept, open spaces of Exmoor to the changing faces of the sea.

Following a hugely successful gig in 2008 at The Factory, Grammy winning Toots and the Maytals return to Barnstaple and to the brand new Factory. Their artistry spans every phase of Jamaican music's evolution. Generations of fans, old and new, are discovering that Toots and the Maytals really are the masters of reggae and live performace.
