LET’S TALK
LET’S TALK about a topic that we sometimes find difficult to talk about.
If you or a loved one should pass away which of the following do you think your family would find most valuable?
A US$100 donated to GOFundMe
B. A condolence card
C. A wreath
D. Some refreshment for the repast
E. A cheque that would cover your funeral expenses.
If you selected ‘E’ then you made a wise decision
The cost of funerals comes as a surprise to many persons. When they start to call around for quotes that’s the time they are finding out just how expensive a funeral can be These costs can add up quickly and burden your family during an already emotionally challenging time.
Now the shock of the funeral cost can be reduced with the family Indemnity Plan (FIP) form CUNA Caribbean Insurance
Abigale Scott Sales Associate
The FIP is a life insurance plan that provides financial assistance which can be used to cover funeral expenses.
Simplicity & ease of access - there is no medial to sign up and you can access the insurance by contacting the FIP coordinator at your church or through the conference office.
Affordability & Flexibility - there are eleven plans from which to choose, and one low monthly premium covers up to six (6) eligible family members.
By taking proactive steps to plan for the inevitable, you can alleviate the burden on your family and leave behind a lasting legacy of care and responsibility.

Greetings and a pleasant and wonderful Sabbath to you.
As we approach the month of May, a special time dedicated to our children and adolescents, we are excited to invite your church to participate in a meaningful and enriching experience themed "God’s Little Hands, Making a Difference." This month offers a wonderful opportunity to nurture our young members’ faith, talents, and sense of purpose as they grow in the love and grace of God.
In light of our national call to action, we also emphasize the importance of its Child Month Theme : "Act Now: Stand Against Child Abuse and Exploitation." It is our collective responsibility to ensure a safe, supportive, and spiritually nourishing environment where our children can thrive and witness the love of Christ in their lives.
We warmly invite your church to involve all t he children and adolescents in sharing their talents, testimonies, and spiritual insights throughout May. Let us encourage them to participate actively in Sabbath School programmes, Children's Day, Adolescents Day, prayer meetings, and special activities d esigned to inspire and empower them to make a positive impact within their families, communities, and beyond. Remember, they are God's treasures, and they are to be guided to be a witness as well as His hands and feet to touch someone's life.
Furthermore, we are delighted to extend an invitation for all children to join us in the grand finale celebration, that is, our children and adolescents Jubilee on May 31st. This will be held at Port Maria SDA Church in St. Mary, under the theme: "A Glimpse of Glory." This special day will showcase the talents, testimonies, and spiritual growth of our children, culminating in a heartfelt worship service that celebrates their journey of faith. We encourage your church to ensure children are given ample opportunity to share, participate, and worship during this memorable event.
We applaud our dedicated and committed leaders for the sacrifices made and the guidance given to our young ones. Thanks to our faithful and supportive parents for allowing us to help in molding these wonderful young ones. Together, let us commit to fostering an environment where our children can grow as faithful, active, and responsible followers of Christ who are making a difference today and for eternity.
We look forward to partnering with your church in t his exciting initiative and prayerfully anticipate a month filled with spiritual growth and joyful celebration.
Happy Child Month, my dear children and adolescents. Allow those little hands to make a difference in your church, home, and community. See you all on May 31st in Port Maria
God bless you abundantly as you prepare to nurture the children in your congregation.

International Environment Day, observed on June 5th, presents a vital opportunity for our churches to demonstrate our commitment to responsible stewardship of God's creation. We are calling upon you to begin planning now to make this a meaningful and impac tful event.
We strongly recommend that each church partner with its local community to engage in activities that promote environmental protection. This collaboration strengthens our connection with our neighbors and amplifies our collective impact.
To assist you in your planning, we will post some suggestions in the stewardship WhatsApp group. We encourage you to tailor the suggested activities to the specific needs and context of your community. Your dedication and leadership in this endeavor are highly valued.
We are confident that through collaborative efforts, we can make a significant difference in protecting our environment.
We look forward to your support as we seek to make this event special and one to be remembered.
Yours in the Master’s Service
John Arthurs Stewardship and Men’s Ministries Director
