Les anciens bureaux du bâtiment Robert Bruch sont transformés en ateliers de création ou en espaces de recherche. Un important travail acoustique est réalisé et une pièce insonorisée pour permettre aux musicien.nes de s’exercer à toute heure, sans déranger les voisin.es.
Chantiers en cours RESIDENCESD’ARTISTESLors de leur résidence à neimënster, les artistes avaient l’habitude de poser leurs valises dans les logements aménagés dans le bâtiment Robert Bruch et pouvaient utiliser les ate liers mis à disposition. Ces derniers ont été rénovés ; les logements seront terminés dans les mois à venir. Des espaces de convivial ité sont aménagés et une nouvelle kitchenette est installée à chaque étage, permettant aux artistes d’échanger ou de profiter d’un moment de convivial ité. Un mobilier est installé devant chaque atelier pour que l’artiste puisse présenterson travail.Les appartements seront rénovés et la lite rie changée. L’espace habitable sera opti misé afin d’améliorer la qualité de vie et le confort général du séjour des artistes sur le site de neimënster.

Shuffle is a unique jazz showcase festival in the Grand Duchy. Formerly called Luxembourg Jazz Meeting, the bi-annual festival has become the platform and steppingstone for Lux embourg’s jazz scene, as all artists get the opportunity to present their projects in front of a wide selection of national and international music professionals. In addition, neimënster is inviting emerging international jazz acts to compliment the line-up, thus becoming a real talent development platform for international exchange and music discoveries. Musicians are risk-takers and sorcerers’ apprentices. Our wizard Pascal Schumacher has selected 8 of them, from all around Europe and beyond, for the 6th edition of our Reset TheFestival.rules: 8 artists, 8 different instruments, 8 days in the neimënster laboratory, no prior contact. These are the components of the Reset potion. The spell is effective and allows them to create a common musical language and to share it with the audience over the course of 3 uniquely different evenings. How to get here?
Access En At the St.-Esprit Plateau in the city center a public lift gives access to the Grund quarter which is the most convenient way to go to the Neumünster Abbey by both foot and car (~ 250 m by foot). Moreover, a pedestrian bridge connects Clausen and its parking Brasserie with the Abbey’s courtyard. Via public transport the Abbey is acces sible by bus lines 14, 15 and 20. At bus stop Stadgronn-Bréck (~ 200 m) bus 20 takes you to Luxembourg central station or Pfaffenthal Rout Bréck every 20 min utes. Bus stop Rumm on the Rue de la Tour Jacob (~ 150) is served by buslines 14, 15 and 20. The bus station Roosevelt (~ 500 m) further facilitates the connection with the VDL bus network.
