egislator Barraga presented Michael Gregory DeCanio with a proclamation in recognition for obtaining the designation of Eagle Scout. In order to achieve this rank, a young man must exhibit leadership, talent, character and perseverance. Michael’s project was to develop, plan and construct a mason planter on the front of the Exchange Ambulance Corporation of the Islips, as he continues to serve as a volunteer.
