slip Town officials were recently joined by over two hundred runners at the annual Miles of Hope 5K. The race, hosted by the Town of Islip in conjunction with the Islip Breast Cancer Coalition, raises funds to assist women who are suffering from the effects of breast cancer, and to fund research efforts that lead to better treatment methods for breast cancer and other women’s cancers. Thanks to all those who participated.
