everal enthusiastic Middle School students worked hard to bring a performance of a creative dramatic production, titled Rise, to center stage. Bullying, scarlet fever, polio, blindness, abuse and stuttering are just a few of the obstacles that the famous African Americans featured in the Bay Shore Middle School’s 2015 celebration of Black History Month had to rise above in their journeys to success.
