Art, Drama & Music Showcase
Each year the Arts team looks forward to this day when our students get to showcase their learning and enjoyment of the Arts in a range of expressive ways and through myriad mediums and styles.
Visual arts showcase
Throughout the year, students explore various art forms and techniques, learning the principles of composition by drawing inspiration from different art movements and styles. Their work includes creative exploration, observation, and using everyday objects to create meaningful compositions, including monochromatic pieces to study tonal variation. Figure drawing is practiced through gesture and posture observation. The annual art exhibition, "FRAGMENTS OF REALITY," highlighted how inspiration from daily life shapes their work.
Music Showcase
Grades 6 to 8 students at Neev Academy showcase their musical talents through a dynamic Music Showcase, exploring instruments like drums, guitars, ukuleles, and keyboards, along with vocal performances. This experience emphasizes not only musical skill but also teamwork, as students collaborate, support, and inspire one another. The showcase highlights the importance of adaptability and collaboration, lessons that extend far beyond the stage.
Drama Showcase
This year, our students showcased resilience, creativity, and unity through inspiring performances under the theme “Resilience in Unity.” They chose topics reflecting their unique perspectives and poured their hearts into crafting authentic, impactful plays. Each performance stands as a testament to their passion, determination, and commitment.
