YOUTH VOICE: EMPOWERING POSITIVE CHANGE (YOUTH4CHANGE) NEWSLETTER. NOVEMBER, 2023

LDUK has been actively fostering the engagement of children and youth in political life through various initiatives and projects for many years. We are pleased to share news about the Erasmus+ project "Youth Voice: Enabling Positive Change" (Youth4CHANGE)."

PUPILS COMPETITION: “IMAGINE EU”.

Teachers, we invite you to nurture Europe's future leaders! The Lithuanian College of Democracy (LDUK), which has been spearheading civic and democratic initiatives for nearly 30 years, in collaboration with the European Commission's "European Citizens' Initiative," calls upon teams of schoolchildren to submit their visions and proposals for the European Union in a video competition called 'ImagineEU'. The competition runs until December 13, 2023. For more information about the competition, please visit here. "Empower your students to become changemakers and participate in an international competition. This is a great opportunity to be an active citizen and gain a closer understanding of the European Citizens' Initiative," says the Ambassador of the European Citizens' Initiative, LDUK researcher Dr. Eglė Celiesienė."

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW The competition is open to all students in the last two years of high school throughout Europe. In the video, participants can address any area of activity or issues within the European Union. Entries can be submitted until December 13, 2023. The winning teams will be awarded an educational trip to the heart of the European Union - Brussels. Videos can be found here.
