Through the Bulletin we aim to bring the FFA National Curriculum and the Majura philosophy to life as we aim to improve the health and football ability of all our young players. Majura will be setting up a Majura Technical Working Group to explore the development of our players and coaches. We will bring some suggestions to the Committee through our VP Football and vice a versa. If you’d like to be involved please email: mfc_technical@live.com
U7 Saturday Skills training session is currently being held every Saturday after U7 games. Please encourage your u7 boys and girls to attend.
Trial In-Season Coerver Girls program. We are currently trialing a Coerver Skills Development program for girls, aged 10-12. (The players pay Coerver directly which is an additional fee to Registration.) We are investigating the possibility of a boy’s program 11-14 in the second half of the season and a possibility of expanding the girl’s trial.
U10 Development Squads. The boy’s development program has been running for some time and will be training on Saturday mornings. Head coach for this squad is Jason Thornton. The girl’s squad will train for the first time this Sunday with Paul Whittingham as the head coach. We’ll bring you some updates in later bulletins.
