DOG POUND STUDENT COUNCIL
Dog Pound Student Council members are elected student leaders who are responsible for planning student activities, dances and for igniting school spirit at athletic events and around campus. The Dog Pound Student Council will be charged with specifically developing and implementing plans for dances, pep rallies and the effective and appropriate running of our student spirit section.
ATHLETICS
The Notre Dame Preparatory athletic programs are part of the fabric of the NDP community with more than 80% of students participating in AIA or club sports. NDP competes locally, regionally and nationally in 27 interscholastic sports and activities. We are very proud of our athletic tradition and success, winning 56 state championships. Our commitment is to provide young men and women with dynamic opportunities for personal growth and formation through athletics that will impact each of them for a lifetime. To participate in sports in the 2022-23 school year, all athletes must register online to be cleared and approved before the first tryout or practice. The NDP Athletic Department uses the secure registration platform, FinalForms, that provides our families with a safe, easy and user-friendly way to register for Notre Dame Prep athletics. All students must take and upload a new physical (after 3/1/22), while new and transfer students must also take the Brainbook and Opioid Course and upload the completed certificate.
