The pursuit of excellence in sports demands dedication, organization, sacrifice, hard work, discipline and most of all respect for yourself, your coaches, officials and your teammates. Nicolet High School applauds your efforts and knows that your athletic experiences will last a lifetime. I also want to express gratitude and appreciation for the coaches, administrators, boosters, staff and volunteers who work with our student-athletes to provide an outstanding athletic experience and all the opportunities for personal growth that come with being part of a team. The Varsity Nicolet Dance Team is an elite group of athletes working together to promote school spirit and community pride through the art of dance. Our mission is to teach each student to be their best by instilling the values of creativity, dedication, passion and teamwork! We strive to uphold past traditions while embracing a new age of Nicolet. We fearlessly take risks, challenge ourselves and continue to raise the bar. We perform at NHS home football, soccer and basketball games, compete at many dance competitions, participate at community events and travel throughout the nation. We wear the Nicolet “N� with pride and encourage everyone to join us as we promote the greatness of our Nicolet Community! Team Stats/Accomplishments - 2013-2014 Team Captains: Adina Barrientos, Lindsay Carpenter, Megan Eisendrath - Alumni accepted to the UW-Madison Dance Major Program, Ball State University Dance Major Program, Penn State Dance Team - Milwaukee Bucks Energee Dance Team selected Christy P. (2010), Brionna H. (2012) & Samantha K. (2012) as All-Star Dancers and performed during a Professional NBA game - Selected to the Orange Bowl (2011) in Miami, FL to dance at halftime with the Goo Goo Dolls. NHS was selected to be front and center on the 50 yard line out of 800 Dancers! Cheerleading

The Nicolet Varsity Cheerleading Team returns 8 of last year’s team. They are Juniors; Imani Smith, Bria Morrow, Janay Briggs, and Sophomores; Danielle Smith, Chantiay Wilson, Essence Mccovery, Tatyana Pearson, and Paige Scheldroup. The team welcomes 11 new additions. They are Juniors; Feelicia Hollins and Emani Williams along with Sophomores; Kierra Vasser, Brianna Evans, and Ceira Robbins. Freshman; Acacia Hortman, Asia Hortman and Marniyah McCarter. The team, led by this year’s captains Paige Scheldroup and Tatyana Pearson look to return to Sun Prairie and once again bring home the Grand Champion Award this winter. Also, the team will compete at the WACPC Regionals in early February. Their first competition, the Indian Invite, is scheduled for November 23, 2013 at Menomonee Falls High School. Anyone interested in participating in cheerleading should contact Head Coach Teri Green at 414-333-8187. The team will look to add more members at the end of the football season. The admission pass is being extended to you for a cost of $45. The pass offers FREE admission for your immediate family to all regular season Nicolet home sporting events for the entire 2013/2014 calendar year. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Current athletic schedules can be found on Nicolet website, http://www.nicolet.us under the activities tab. Regular admission prices are $5 per adult and $4 3 per student.
