Sales Program Overviews

FOUNDATIONS EXPERT ADVISOR DISTINCTION MASTERY

The foundations approach is two-part; first, a commercial lines in-person technical opportunity provided 3 times annually; and second, a series of presales soft skill building hosted in Navacord Academy. This is designed to provide new or aspiring producers foundational skills before they have a new business sales target and is a great way to support onboarding or development processes.

This program provides foundational sales skills and case-based technical training for unvalidated producers with new business targets. It is supplemented with knowledge sharing from Navacord SMEs and coaching support and updates for brokerage mentors and leaders.

This program is geared to Commercial lines and GBRS.

This program includes focuses on skills to elevate intermediate advisors in their sales strategy, helping them sell more effectively to professional audiences. Formal training on buyer psychology, and communication skills is included, as well as opportunities to build relationships and collaborate with peers across the counter.

This program is geared to Commercial lines and GBRS.

The Mastery program is an invite-only opportunity for elite advisors across Navacord to come together. With focused conversation, collaborative discussion, and executive networking opportunities, this unique program is built to support our top advisors continued growth.

An on-demand intermediate (between Expert and Distinction) program is currently in-development. This program will focus on sales skills as well as building knowledge of what and where expertise is around Navacord.

SALES Commercial Lines

Onboarding tools and guidance focused on developing technical and soft skills of new and aspiring producers.

Building foundational knowledge early in a sales journey is the groundwork of becoming an expert advisor. As businesses and advisors move through this journey, Navacord now offers support in a variety of ways.

Building sales and technical expertise to build success of new producers.

Expert Advisor is built as a two-phased program with intensive content up-front either in-person (4 days) or virtually (2 months) followed by a ‘light’ period with touch-points and online requirements and concluding with additional sales training towards the end of the ~ 7 month program.

Designed for those successfully meeting new business targets and building their book size, this program focuses on developing traits of elite producers with the ultimate objective to close faster and win bigger.

Client Experience Commercial Lines Programs

Designed to provide new hires the foundational knowledge to be successful in their new roles, this intensive trainee program includes a combination of insurance industry and product knowledge, and our highest rated workplace critical skills courses.

Built to continue the development of client experience professionals, this program focuses on effective managing of insurance placements through an understanding of insurance market dynamics, five-star industry leading submissions, quote reviews and interpersonal communication skills.

Targeted to successful client experience professionals on a continued development journey, this program includes the analysis of commercial exposures, contract review, claims analysis and flexible communication skills.

Created to provide practical and application-based specialty lines training for service professionals. This program facilitates elevated technical expertise for increased competence and confidence to respond to the dynamic needs of clients and address the increasingly complex business exposures.

Client Experience Program

TRAINEE

Foundational technical training for entry-level commercial lines employees.

Overview

This entry-level program features basic commercial lines insurance product technical training incorporating the what and why of service delivery. With a blended learning approach, this 7-week program incorporates online learning and virtual classes with straight-forward application assignments to enhance knowledge retention. Time Commitment: 2 hours per day for 7 weeks.

Eligibility

Recommended for individuals with 0-2 years commercial lines experience with a desire to strengthen their technical knowledge on core insurance products including anyone transitioning to a commercial lines role from another segment such as personal lines.

Client Experience Program

ADVANCED

Commercial lines insurance placement training for advancing client experience professionals.

Overview

This CE Accredited* program is a service professional’s pathway to boost skills in working with their team, clients and underwriters for smoother insurance placements for our commercial clients. Targeted to Account Managers and Brokers with 0-2 years' experience in role, the Advanced program will provide essential insurance placement skills including navigating the market, building submissions and quote reviews alongside advanced communication techniques to improve your meeting planning as well as internal and underwriter-facing communication.

Technical training to increase service professional confidence in specialty coverage lines.

Overview

This CE Accredited program is your pathway to develop your specialty coverage technical skills and account rounding techniques to increase client engagement, offer solutions, increase efficiency, develop strong relationships and get results. Designed for Navacord commercial lines professionals, the Specialty Lines Series covers targeted exposure identification, understanding policy wordings, how coverage responds, claims scenarios and skills to more confidently discuss with clients.

This one-of-a-kind program developed by Navacord for Navacord top-performing service professionals to gain and share expertise in a small groups. The emerging leader's program is focused on supporting an individual’s development with an emphasis on skills required for successful people leadership. The program is delivered through a series of on-demand training hosted in Navacord Academy. It provides insights into the transferable soft skills needed to build leadership capability and is a great way to support growth and development of aspiring future leaders.

FOUNDATIONS SUMMIT

This program provides foundational soft leadership skills and tactical skills for new people leaders. The self-paced on-demand content is provided through Navacord Academy and supplemented with graded assignments throughout.

Self-enrollment with approvals or HR Reps can enroll learners directly through Navacord Academy.

Navacord will be hosting its second annual Leadership Summit in Oct 2024. This event brings together experienced middle leaders from across Navacord to support their professional development through formal training and networking opportunities.
