Welcome FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Dear Friends,
Through their long history, Jesuit schools have come to be known for academic excellence and a commitment to educating leaders of compassion. Many Jesuit universities and high schools are recognized for challenging academics, successful sports programs, and high-profile graduates, but the work done in middle schools like Nativity Prep demonstrates the Jesuit commitment to “accompany young people in the creation of a hope filled future.”
This year’s Nativity Prep 8th grade Class of Foley is preparing to graduate and head off to high school with the hope and promise to make a difference in the world. Over the course of their middle school education, they have been resilient through challenging times and persevered in their academic studies and athletic accomplishments. The young men have done their part, learning and growing as individuals and as a class, becoming Nativity “Ready” for what comes next. Each young man also knows that their achievements and success are due to individual effort and the shared commitment of many dedicated teachers, staff, sponsors, and benefactors. They have formed a foundational education through middle school with the skills and positive habits that have prepared them for the next steps. On that journey, Nativity will continue to accompany them as our Graduate Support Office and College Promise program continue to guide and support them in their new environments.
We are very proud of our graduates and are grateful to each of you because, through your generosity, you are a part of creating this hope-filled future.

YASIN ANDINO CLASS OF FOLEY ‘23
Yasin entered Nativity as a 4th grader and is preparing to transition to Phillips Academy Andover this fall. He has worked hard to stay on top of his academics while being dedicated to basketball and track. He runs for the Metro Cobras Track Club and is known for his notable skills in the shot put and discus. We will miss Yasin, but we cannot wait to see what he does next in this next chapter!
Nativity has taught me what true brotherhood is. It has been an eye-opening experience for me to learn what inclusivity really means and to treat my peers as family. My time at Nativity is something I will always remember and I’m thankful for the values I’ve learned along the way.
DAMIEN HARRISON CLASS OF LEMAITRE ‘19
Damien is graduating from Boston College High School this spring and will attend St. John’s University in the fall. Damien plans on majoring in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies on a Pre Law track. He aspires to work in the judicial system as both a Criminal Defense Attorney and Federal Prosecutor to reshape and redefine the Criminal Justice System.
Nativity has taught me what it truly means to be “Committed to Justice.” To be an advocate for and stand in solidarity with those who are oppressed and marginalized, as Jesus did. I was introduced to the practice of “A faith that does justice.” Nativity instilled in me the Jesuit values that have projected my passions to be an agent of change and promoter of justice.
MEN AND WOMEN for Others
SINESIA KAROL
Sinesia Karol has been committed to the Nativity mission for over a decade. She is a generous benefactor who always takes the needs of the School, the students, and the families into consideration. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas, she and her family personally deliver handmade holiday baskets filled with non-perishables, canned goods, and treats families can use during the holidays. As an example of her commitment to education, she sponsors the Harvard MEDScience Program, where our students are exposed to the medical field firsthand.
Do you know of a program that Nativity students or alumni might benefit from?

Congratulations to the 8th grade Class of Foley and the 2019 Class of Lemaitre.
This past year, our students and alumni have worked hard to get accepted into top area high schools and prestigious universities with substantial financial aid packages. The Class of Foley alone received $1.2M in financial aid. The Nativity community is thrilled to see what these young men do on their continued educational journeys!
