SUMMER 2018 Funding

This practice of support to local Chambers by city governments in So Cal is common practice precisely because chambers make a contribution to the economic climate of municipalities that cities are ill-equipped to make for themselves. In San Diego County, average Total Per capita Per Year City Contribution to their local chamber is $1.36. The City of National City's Per capita contribution was $ 0.76, about half of what we know other chambers receive. That is among the reasons we were awarded $53,000 from the City of San Diego Arts and Culture Commission and $65,000 from the Port of San Diego. Here are facts reflecting the value of Chamber programs to our City. Our Board takes great pride in what these events and projects contribute to National City, its people, and it businesses. It is critical that the Chamber remain at the forefront of business development and community promotion. Help us get there. Contact us at (619) 477-9339 / info@nationalcitychamber.org. 1.
