2013 Members Meeting Novotel Manly Pacific March 13th - 16th Thursday kicked off with a quick bite of morning tea before commencing the meeting with introductions around the room, a review of Synergy, Members Competitors, General Purchasing and Bulk Buys.
The launch of the April, May, June brochure was followed by the Thexton Armstrong Business Success Programme Presentation.

2013 Members Meeting Novotel Manly Pacific March 13th - 16th Friday Night - Synergy Awards Dinner As has become tradition for Synergy dinners, the opportunity to mix and mingle with as many people as possible is facilitated by moving tables between courses. Once again, the feedback for this format has been incredibly positive, so it’s something to look forward to at future dinners

2013 Members Meeting Novotel Manly Pacific March 13th - 16th Friday Night - Synergy Awards Dinner The formality of the evening was to present a few awards to our Preferred Suppliers. The first was for Exceptional Service to Members, based on feedback from all our members, winners being Powers, Pferd, and Hobson. Preferred Supplier of the year was awarded in 2 categories; under $1,000,000 and over $1,000,000 in sales with other criteria including Admin Reports being accurate and on time, promotions to the group, providing accurate data to the group and actively participating with the group. Winners were Paramount Safety in the Under $1,000,000 category and Hobson Engineering in the Over $1,000,000 category. An additional award was added this year for the best supplier presentation, this is voted on by members after all presentations have been completed on the Friday afternoon. This went to Pferd Australia.

2013 Members Meeting Novotel Manly Pacific March 13th - 16th Sergeant At Arms Our Sergeant At Arms for this meeting was Darren Morrison, over $300 was raised for the Mount Gravatt YMCA. THANKYOU Thank you to all that attended the 2013 Synergy Members Meeting. Your willingness to participate in all aspects of the meetings is what makes the Suppliers want to support our meetings and without the suppliers these meeting would not be possible.

2013 Synergy Construction & Industrial Supply Group Trade Show 2013 Trade Show event will be held August 14th -17th at the Novotel Hotel and the Encore Function Centre in St. Kilda, VIC. You should have already received your invitations to the event, RSVP is May 15th, so please mark this in your calendar as getting in by this date is the only way to guarantee that places are available. If you have any questions regrading the Trade Show, please don’t hesitate to contact Cheryl and she’ll be happy to help you out.

Bulk Buys Over the past three months we have tried to arrange bulk buys in the following product groups. Threaded Rod and accessories, Stainless Steel, Panel Shims, Mild Steel, Site Boxes and Extension Leads. We have arranged indent orders of Panel Shims, Site Boxes and Extension Leads. The leads and site boxes have arrived at the warehouse and the panel shims will be arriving in May. We are currently finalising the bulk purchase of Stainless Steel and will be working on High Tensile, Threaded Rod, Purlin Bolts and Nylon Nuts in the coming months. We are also negotiating a range of Builders Wheelbarrows. Our target with bulk buys is to obtain group orders greater than $20,000 so without your support it is difficult to entice suppliers. As requested we now send out a Specials Order Form with quantities On Hand on the 25th of each month, so you can take advantage of the specials with your 1st of the month orders. Also the specials list features items in our current brochure. If you would like to purchase any of these items please contact us at purchasing@synergysystems.com.au 15
2013 Product Guide We have some stock of the product guides available from the Synergy Warehouse, please let Ray know if you would like to order these. They are $4 ea, MOQ of 1 box (10). Training If you would like to have the Synergy Team provide training to your team on Sales or Micronet please contact Perry or Cheryl to discuss your requirements. April, May, June Brochure We are exploring the option of doing one more print run of the April, May, June brochure, as some members would like to send them out to their customers with their May statements. Please contact Cheryl ASAP if you would like to be included on this run, minimum 1,000 pieces, as we will need to order them next week, to facilitate this occurring.
