2013 Members Meeting Novotel Manly Pacific March 13th - 16th You should have all received your flight details and airport transfer information in the last week or so. If for some reason you haven’t seen it, please contact Cheryl immediately.
The Members Meeting Agenda will be sent out shortly, but the highlights are: Thursday 14th March 10am commencement with Synergy & Supplier presentations along with some topics for discussion . A quick change to be ready to jump on a bus to take us for our Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise sponsored by Pferd. Let’s hope the weather is OK, but it might be an idea to pack a light coat.
Friday March 15th 8am start with Supplier presentations most of the morning and Synergy presentations in the afternoon. Our Members/Suppliers dinner, commences at 7pm. 5
2013 Members Meeting Novotel Manly Pacific March 13th - 16th We have 90% Member participation for our March event. 60 Suppliers have committed to attend, with 43 advertising in our April, May, June brochure. The brochure will be launched in Manly
We be launching an exciting new guide - Product EZ Find , that is designed to help your team easily find which of our preferred suppliers carries products that your customers may be asking for.
2013 Synergy Construction & Industrial Supply Group Trade Show and Conference 2013 Trade Show event will be held August 15th -16th, with the location to be announced at the Members meeting.

Bulk Buys Over the past three months we have tried to arrange bulk buys in the following product groups. Threaded Rod and accessories, Paint, Stainless Steel, Panel Shims, Mild Steel, Site Boxes and Extension leads. We have successfully negotiated bulk orders of Panel Shims, Site Boxes and Extension Leads and we are expecting to see them into our warehouse in the next month. We are currently finalising the bulk purchase of Stainless Steel and are hopeful that we will be able to offer Mild steel shortly after. Due to the highly competitive market in some of the products we have not been able to negotiate significantly better deals. In some cases we have approached preferred suppliers to indent bulk buys to try and obtain a buying advantage for the group. With our Members Meeting coming up in March we will present a more in depth picture of the ‘Bulk Buys’. With that in mind if you have any suggestions on what items you would like us to arrange group bulk buys please send them through to us prior to our meeting or bring along a list. Our target with bulk buys is to obtain group orders greater than $20,000 so without your support it is difficult to entice suppliers. Just before Christmas we made pallet purchases of Ramset C101C and Powers KF2 so if you are looking for a great price on either of these products take a look at the latest order sheet sent through late in January. In February we will be commencing a bulk deal on Yato Tools. During March we are looking at Threaded Rod, High Tensile and Builders Shovels. As requested we now send out a Specials Order Form with quantities On Hand on the 25th of each month, so you can take advantage of the specials with your 1st of the month orders. 2013 Product Guide The Product Guides were delivered to all members just prior to Christmas, a whole month earlier than we had expected. We have some stock of the product guides available from the Synergy Warehouse, please let Ray know if you would like to order these. They are $4 ea, MOQ of 1 box (10). 2013 Calendars Along with the Product Guides, the calendars were also shipped prior to Christmas, there are no calendars left in the Synergy Warehouse. Training If you would like to have the Synergy Team provide training to your team on Sales or Micronet please contact Perry or Cheryl to discuss your requirements. Website At the August Conference in Cairns one of the action points that came out of the meeting was to update how we show members addresses on the synergy website. The guys have been working on this and your shop address is now shown when the location marker on the map is clicked.
