Fact Sheet Restoring Dignity, Rebuilding Lives . Founded in 2004, inspired by the life of Israeli humanitarian Abie Nathan, NATAN International Humanitarian Aid, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, provides emergency relief and recovery for both natural and man-made disasters worldwide, with expertise in medical, dental, psychosocial and educational aid.

2015-2018: Aid to Syrian Refugees • Israel/Jordan – Trained 20 Jordanian medical caregivers for work with Syrian refugees • Serbia – Medical and psychological aid to refugees in Presevo and at Macedonian border, Creating and operating a medical clinic which served more than 5.000 refugees in transit. • Greece – Chios & Lesbos islands. Established OHF Community Center & created the first school for refugees operated by refugees • Syrian Golan – Medical and Dental Primary Care Clinic in Camp Ichay and Telemedicine provided by Israeli doctors to civilians within Syria

Priorities for 2019 • Mozambique: Following primary relief, joint training program with the Pedagogical University of Beira for social workers, educators and psychologists in community resilience • Medical Aid: Investment toward World Health Organization accreditation • Social Impact: Increasing the awareness of young entrepreneurs to extend their projects to developing countries or to disaster relief situations and seek NATAN’s professional advice in implementing their initiatives. • Dental Aid: Developing NATAN’s dental clinic for underprivileged people and implementing the Mobile Dental Clinic in Ethiopia.

Annual Budget $150,000 per year (USD). The annual budget varies depending on actual operations in the field from year to year.

Legal Status NATAN is a Registered Israeli Non-Profit organization (amuta: RA 580526424). NATAN is recognized in the United States for 501(C) tax-deductible donations - facilitated through PEF-Israel Endowment Fund Inc. and in Israel tax credit for donations to Israeli charities approved under Section 46.
