EROES FROM THE PAST : Jean Moulin  He was born on the 20th June of 1899 at Béziers, in France.  He was the prefect of many cities in France from 1921 to 1939.  During the second World War, Jean Moulin was an high-profil of the French resistance.

He helped the general De Gaulle to give informations that would help the French resistance to take possession of arms but also the funding.

 He died the 8th july of 1943 when he was deported in the train who went in germany .

Why was he a hero ?

ďƒ˜ Jean Moulin was a hero because he elped the general De Gaulle to release rance and to stop jewsdeportation by eeping silence during the years while he was in captivity and tortured, but also ecause he died for the freedom f his country.

ďƒ˜ If Jean Moulin had cracked under ression, the French resistance would be enounced and the France would not be ke today. He is a pioneer of the resistance.

Why I think Jean Moulin is a hero : « For me, Jean Moulin is a hero because without him the french resistance could not operate and the France could not be liberated. » -Quentin
