SUMMARY OF THE BOOK Kot v filmu (As in a movie) is a story about a boy Gašper, who is 12 years old. He likes internet surfing, movies, music… He has a best friend and a crush, with which he doesn't talk. He talks with her only via Skype, because he is too embarrassed. Things get complicated when Gašper realizes that the relationship between his parents is starting to change. In addition his grades in school are getting worse. After his parents' divorce, his life becomes like in a movie. Gašper's dad takes him to a kind stranger who lives in a cabin in the middle of a wood and has a pig for a pet and knows how to talk to birds.

The kind man has no computer or TV. Gašper starts living a life that he has never imagined before. This novel is a story where everyone will recognise a part of themselves even though they are a teenager or an adult. The author's way of telling the story is funny and the story is full of unexpected turns.

THE MAIN CHARACTER The main character is GaĹĄper, who is 12 years old. He likes to surf on the internet, listen to music and watch movies, with which he widens his imagination. He has a best friend and a crush that he talks to only via Skype. He is shy around strangers, but at the same time he gets comfortable with situations quickly. This saves him in the situation with his parents and the divorce. He gets sent to a kind stranger without electronics. He can't believe that someone like him really exists. Because of his personality he manages even when there are bad times.
