Cyril James Betts of Deseronto, at age 80, beloved husband of Elena Betts (Nelson) and the late Patricia Betts (Swayne). Dear father of James (Cheryl) of Kingston; John (Mary Ellen) of Deseronto; Elizabeth Sagriff (Terry) of Erinsville and Angela Beavis of Kingston. Stepfather of Paul, Brenda and Karen of Barrie and Kathleen of Napanee. Loved grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Brother of Winnifred Voodt and Kathleen Betts of Belleville. Funeral Service was held at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 173 Robinson Street in Napanee on Saturday, January 18th at 11am. Interment at Christ Church Cemetery in Tamworth. With his family by his side on January 19, 2014 at Friendly Manor Nursing Home in his 70th year. Husband of the late Judy Goodberry and son of the late Harold and Rachel Goodberry. Cherished father of Doug (Beverly) Goodberry and Kevin (Vicki) Goodberry. Treasured grandpa of Jessica, Wyatt, Travis, Gavyn, Kaleb, Becky and great-grandpa of Haylee. Beloved wife of the late Chad G. Coe and deeply loved mother of Sandra Hanthorn (Don) of Consecon; Leslie Franks (late Bob) of Tamworth; Valda Dagnall (Allan) of Bath; Charlene Robinson (Barry) of Napanee; Chad Coe (late Yvonne) of Ottawa and the late Dianne Coe. She was loved and will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Chris, Lisa and Craig, Michelle and Stephane, Kelly and Trevor; Evan and Catherine, Ashley, Angie and Chris, A.J. and Kira; and Rolanda, Great-grandchildren, Alex, Rachel, Fisher, Finn, Brayden, Kaitlyn, Miley, Rhylan, Mathew, Alexandra and Cyanne, who were a constant source of great delight to her. She will be missed by sisters-in-law Madeline and Veronica and nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.K. Joan was an exceptional military wife supporting Chad through the many postings and carrying the many family responsibilities including setting new quarters and enrolling her children in new schools. She encouraged her children to embrace these adventures and discoveries which they did in Trenton, Langar England, St. Hubert PQ, Ottawa, Metz France, Lahr Germany and Toronto. We are beyond words to express our love and gratitude to Dr. Alkenbrack and the many angels of Rose Garden who provided such excellent care of Joan. We know this gentle, lovely lady will be missed. Born on Earth to Bud in Heaven. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West (613-3543341) on Friday, January 24th from 11am, followed by Service in the Chapel at 12pm.
