RAIDERS | Marking 25 years CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1 As with last year, they'll play each of the five other Empire B League Junior C teams eight times, four at home, four on the road. The season runs through Feb. 11. The top four teams from the league will make the league playoffs. Also in the league is Deseronto and Port Hope. To celebrate their 25th year of existence, the Raiders have scheduled an alumni game for Sept. 17. They're reaching out to any

members of the 1988 club who would be interested in strapping on the skates for old time sake. The game will start at 8 p.m. and proceeds from the gate will be donated towards cancer research in honour of George Magold and Bob McGreer, both of which were with the team since its inception before passing away. Any players from the original team interested in playing can contact the team through e-mail at NapaneeRaiders@gmail.co m.
