IBS Hyderabad (’03) works with Networth Stock Broking as SBU Head in Mumbai. Additionally, he takes care of e-business initiatives, product development as well as NRI functions of the company. He started his career with Karvy Group as a Management Trainee and was picked by the top management for managing one of the largest branches of the company within five months of joining.

Family My father is retired and mother is enjoying her stint with her grandson as a full-time dadima, I have 2 younger brothers—one is a Scientist with DRDO— Hyderabad, other is a software professional with ChenoaMumbai. My wife Ranjana Singh is a housewife and the joy of all our lives is our one and half year old son Vibhaas.

At IBS, I started as the worst presenter and came out as the “Best”. I have always come from behind to take the top slot! Self belief, Conviction, out of box thinking / Lateral thinking, came to being for me in IBS.

I am my own IDEAL
To begin with I wanted to see and believe; hence it’s been C Parthasarathy – CMD Karvy Group – Great Visionary and Leader and Girish Dev – CEO and ED – Networth Group for his selflessness, risk taking ability, understanding of the industry and for providing best place to “Work” (Freedom & Profile). Now, of late, I have become my own IDEAL, let’s see how far I can take myself to!
Love the job not the company
One should always focus on priority, planning and scheduling, seldom if ever you would find yourself under very high pressure. Priority, planning and scheduling – These are NOT mere words; they have some meaning, find it and use / implement them! However please note; the more you do, the more work/assignments you get, your
aspirations and ambitions must be well thought out. And do not forget to love your job and not the company!
Ever evolving act
To be very candid, most of us put ourselves under a lot of pressure in our ambition to make it really big too soon. Hence we over do ourselves in first three years. Before we realize we would already have tilted towards our work leaving little time for our family. It’s an ever evolving act which swings at times both ways.
Sleep off the stress
One should always segregate physical and mental stress. Never should we let mental stress grow to anxiety, always take short breaks from work, go to places other than your native place, spend some quality time with your loved ones. At times, the best thing is to take a couple of days off to sleep off the stress on bed!
