COMMUNITY SPACES FUTURE SPACES/ MODULARITY
At first glance, Canton—located in North Georgia—appears to be a city of distinct, separate communities. However, there is currently no dedicated on-site space that fosters meaningful community interaction. Through collaborative design efforts, site visits, and research, it became clear that the area lacks safe pedestrian pathways, accessible gathering spaces, and a central hub that connects residents both within and beyond Canton’s city limits. Addressing these challenges will be a central focus of this site’s urban development.
Finalist - 2025 Studio Urban Design Competition
The proposed passenger rail will follow the existing freight corridor through Georgia, sharing infrastructure to reduce costs. Near downtown Canton, the passenger line will separate and ascend to a suspended station, allowing uninterrupted freight service while providing a central passenger hub.
The design, based on the central train station, reflects the site’s topography and road challenges, featuring a range of road types from pedestrian-friendly to car-centric. It integrates Canton’s proposed central road with roundabouts, enhanced by medians and sidewalks to improve traffic flow and pedestrian access.
The program enhances public amenities across downtown and Sunnyside Canton by strategically placing mixed-use and community spaces around the central train station.
*Recognizing the train line as a demographic divide, the design aims to bridge this gap—creating a more unified, inclusive Canton.
This proposed master plan builds on research to address Canton’s urban challenges, with a focus on reconnecting the site divided by the train line. Program details outline space types and sizes, while diagrams highlight walk-ability, drivability, and enhanced connectivity across new commercial and mixed-use zones.

Hang - It Gallery
To accompany a space that allows engagement while also creating a space to display varying sizes of carpentry, fabric work, and stitchings - the Hang-it Gallery exposes its structure and floors by having everything suspended from the ceiling, creating various spaces for visual and physical engagement.

“The Slice” is a food kiosk designed to take part at Kennesaw State’s Marietta campus outdoor food venue. This cantilevering pizza is held by a massive pizza table structure which also makes the ‘floating’ pizza appear as if it is being held up and pulled on by a user and ultimately creating a visual of a cheesy-gooey pizza all in one kiosk.

Designed an engaging lobby space for Tencent Holdings Ltd, a tech company located in China, in collaboration with teams from both Miami and Shanghai. The design featured a massive inverted dome made of mirrors, reflecting the sky from the existing dome in the lobby. I 3D modeled this space to create a sense of openness, with the inverted dome and bridges connecting spaces between levels. My 3D model was used by the company’s rendering team to produce the final images on the right.
