Trump Museum

Located in Florida, this Trump Museum’s design reflects the division Americans felt under Trump’s presidency. The separated forms model the prejudice against the Muslim community when Trump’s Muslim ban was in effect. Trump’s ‘black and white’ notion of where terrorism comes from formed these two different shapes that only connect through the glass bridge running over the road. The bridge reflects that even if external forces create divisions- inevitably, people will interact with each other and a Muslim ban won’t prevent that.

Solace

The solace, spanning over Highway 85, is collaboratively designed by a group of peers to bridge the gap between downtown and mid-rise parts of Atlanta providing a space for activity and comfort in the busy city. The design is composed of modular sections containing a combination of office, retail, and outdoor garden spaces. Through this program, Solace address the food desert and lack of collaboration spaces in the city with garden and community spaces. Steel columns and trusses hold plates that situate this structure over the existing highway- creating a sanctuary above. And to promote circulation within programs, steel truss rings connect people throughout different levels of the site.

The Interaction

This project interacts with the ground level and the residential spaces on its top floors with elevating steps that ascend from the sidewalk. This project houses four residential apartment units and a lobby entrance with commercial space for restaurant use, all tied together with the outdoor urban space. The outdoor urban space allows people to walk, sit, and gather with access from the sidewalk up to the restaurant’s roof level.

Hang - It Gallery

To accompany a space that allows engagement while also creating a space to display varying sizes of carpentry, fabric work, and stitchings - the Hang-it Gallery exposes its structure and floors by having everything suspended from the ceiling, creating various spaces for visual and physical engagement.

AeroChroma

The AeroChroma Collection, developed collaboratively with a team of peers, is an exploration of casting and molding modular furniture pieces. These pieces, which will be showcased at the PCI Convention in Indianapolis, draws inspiration from the concept of mylar balloons. This design introduces a duality to the typically “heavy” feel of concrete, juxtaposing its solidity with the lightweight, buoyant aesthetic of balloons.

The Slice

“The Slice” is a food kiosk designed to take part at Kennesaw State’s Marietta campus outdoor food venue. This cantilevering pizza is held by a massive pizza table structure which also makes the ‘floating’ pizza appear as if it is being held up and pulled on by a user and ultimately creating a visual of a cheesy-gooey pizza all in one kiosk.

Practical Experience

Projects I contributed to and successfully completed during my internship, where I assisted with modeling, design decisions, and the production process, gaining hands-on experience in each phase of the project.

Palm Beach Renovation

As part of the renovation detailing and design decisions to re-imagine shopping mall in Palm Beach, Miami, 3D modeled and designed both parapet and tile details for the project, focusing on creating renovation solutions that easy to install and sustainably produced.

detailing re-imagine a Miami, I parapet focusing that are produced.

Designed an engaging lobby space for Tencent Holdings Ltd, a tech company located in China, in collaboration with teams from both Miami and Shanghai. The design featured a massive inverted dome made of mirrors, reflecting the sky from the existing dome in the lobby. I 3D modeled this space to create a sense of openness, with the inverted dome and bridges connecting spaces between levels. My 3D model was used by the company’s rendering team to produce the final images on the right.

Morphology Studies

A collection of morphology studies exploring space, order, and connections.
