ALBERGUE A GARDEN AND A CHAPEL Santiago De Compostela, Spain_42°52’42.88”N,8°32’16.08”W
DESCRIPTION
The project take a advantage of a secret garden, discovered as during physical exploration of the site and its context. The garden provides a privet sanctuary for the traveler in the busy modern cosmopolitan of Santiago. The main element of the site is its isolation, this is counter-imposed by punctured]herd visual connections to the old city and the cathedral in order to create a richer experience at the end of the journey. The elements and spaces of the complex highlight the old and the new, nature and the building around it. The program includes sleeping quarters, bath, kitchen, a book wall, view points, and a chapel. DESCRIPTION
The project is a unique opportunity to create a stronger and richer cruise ship docking system integrated with a public space and programs for the visitors and locals. Inspired by the powerful landscape of the site, the form is powerful yet silent, dramatic yet respectful. The intervention is strong yet necessary, it illustrates the ambiguity about what needs to be done in order to protect it for future generations. DESCRIPTION
The project attempt at providing a platform for the act of remembrance. The memorial is designed to be located on a hill with a beautiful view towards the Mediterranean sea. Inspired by the book “I never saw another butterfly” the memorial reflects the innocent spirits of the children who died in Terezin concentration camp. DESCRIPTION
The complex is located on St. Joergen’s lake in Copenhagen Denmark. It is designed to be an escape from the lights, noise, stress and worries of the metropolitan city. It is an island for the self and is realized through architecture that focuses on the senses. The program of the structure and the visual manipulation strengthen the detachment from the city. Located on a central walking nerve in the city the entrance is subtle, using an underground path of pools that leads to an island structure in the middle of the iconic lake. The row house community project is located in Holman. It consists of twelve apartments designed to create a community enclose senses of protection. The project deals with issues of local identity, cultural values, traditions, and site properties. The project explores those issues and push them forward, by creating overlapping reach spectrum of spaces, activities, and experiences. DESCRIPTION
The haptic installation focuses on a broader sensory experience, blurring the line between reality and fantasy, between art and life. The installation is constructed using 1512 plexiglas acrylic rods with phosphorescence elements. Energy absorbed during daytime re-emit the radiation it absorbed during night time, creating a visual effect of an organism moving by the force of the wind and touch. The installation constantly reacts to the environment thus creating a rich tactile and visual experience. Cool Construction competition, Spring 2013

PARK HIGGS BOSON Bjaanes Os, Norway_60°11’39.49”N,5°31’18.40”E
DESCRIPTION
The Higgs Boson park was created as a reaction to an already published housing project for Bjannes. The project investigates topics such as MA and immateriality, it exists between reality and a memory, inspired by an ancient longing for a pure experience. The overall plan for the park is encrypted in a manifesto constructed using Paul’s Klee investigation of form. The manifesto compiled of texts and illustrations constitute an apparatus, a decoding device which came forth as a humble realization that the project shouldn’t be finished in order to avoid restrictions. The spaces in the park are essentially empty, they manipulate the experience of the environment in order to create a subtle detachment from the site. The territories are connected view a walk in nature one must take between the designed spaces. An experience of going in and out of nature in order to experience it again. DESCRIPTION
The documentary “ Bedtime Stories From The Axis of Evil” produced by “Up-front Films” and directed by Bryld Vibeke deals with social issues and colored religious and ethnic views. The project challenge was to create childish set landscape with the modest amount of resources. This obstacle reinforced the use of recycled materials, it highlighted the possibilities of using materials in a closed loop system both from ecological and economical perspectives. DESCRIPTION
Products created as a need for specific solutions and for economic reasons. I find beauty in materials that have their own history, I enjoy speculating of their past. A celebration of imperfection; corroded wood panels laying on a shore of a fjord, salty fish container reinterpreted from a grandfather life long project, and a hundred year old bricks.
