Sanosil S015 (Aerosol) Disinfectant for medical aerosol applications

AFNOR NFT 72-281 tested* * with Sanosil Q-Jet Device

Description Sanosil S015 Aerosol is based on the proven Sanosil H2O2-Ag formulation and is suitable for aerosol – room disinfection (in combination with the Sanosil Q-Jet dry foggers). Sanosil S015 Aerosol is used for aerosol disinfection of precleaned, more heavily contaminated rooms which have conditions or requirements according to AFNOR NFT 72-281 (demanding test standard for aerosol disinfection), or even the similar EN 17272.

Short info: Suitable for: Aerosol application with aerosol device e.g. Q-Jet Product type: Ready for use Effective against: Bacteria, viruses, yeasts, fungi, mould spores, bacterial endospores

Mode of action The oxygen (1O2/-O2) split off by the hydrogen peroxide attacks the surfaces of the microorganisms. Oxidation ("cold combustion") denatures and destroys them (1).

Durability: 2 years Active ingredients: 7.5% hydrogen peroxide, 0.0075% silver

Microbiological efficacy: Aerosol with Q-Jet Bactericidal: AFNOR NF T72-281 Levurocide: AFNOR NF T72-281 Fungicide: AFNOR NF T72-281 Sporozide: AFNOR NF T72-281

Spray time + 30 min Spray time + 30 min Spray time + 30 min Spray time + 60 min

Virucidal / Sporocidal: Evaluation of the IVI Mittelhäusern (Swiss Class 4 Biosafety Laboratory) Use against non-enveloped viruses: Spray time + 180 min

The effect is intensified by silver ions, which on the one hand catalytically intensify the effect of the peroxide by massively accelerating the splitting off of reactive oxygen molecules, but on the other hand (2) also supportively block the metabolism (where present) and the reproductive capacity of the germs. This slows down renewed growth.
