Creative Development Ages 3-5yrs
An innovative alternative to traditional preschool, this class offers an introduction to the subjects of math, science, writing and art, along with an introduction to fitness and gymnastics. Curriculum promotes both group interaction and independent learning, while integrating the Y core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring. Meet the Masters Ages 5-12yrs
Explore both old and new masters of the art world. We will introduce different artistic expressions and explore various mediums such as printmaking, papermaking and more.
(Prerequisite Keyboarding I) Kids continue to build on skills learned in Keyboarding 1, using materials from Keyboarding I. Casio keyboards will be provided in class.

Young Performers’ Workshop Ages 8-12yrs
This new class combo offers young people a welcome platform for personal growth and lessons in teamwork in a supportive environment. This class allows students to pursue an understanding of stage technique and acting method. The art of Pantomime will be taught including make-up, costume and body language. Students work on speech, stage movement, vocal projection and audition preparation. Improvisational exercises, class scenes and theater games are used to explore character development, theatrical action, scene structure, dialogue and creative expression. Students will use their newly developed skills to produce an end of session performance. Mon 4:30-6:00pm $155/$310
Video Production Ages 9-14yrs
Shoot music videos, commercials and documentaries with our new video equipment, then edit your work on our iMac laptops. The video making process will incorporate many of the skills of communication, critical thinking, media literacy, and teamwork. This course will be limited to 15 seats. Fashion Design and Merchandising Ages 10-15
This 6 week course will introduce the child to the world of fashion design and merchandising. Go behind the scenes and see how fashion is created. Learn how to build concept boards, and color stories, following the same steps the professionals do in building a line of clothing. Hear from actual buyers and manufacturers on what it takes to be a part of this fast paced industry. Each participant will play an active role in building a line around various themes. If you like to shop and love clothing, this class is for you

Bring your ideas to class where they will be critiqued, worked on and finally recorded with today’s top software like Pro Tools, Live and Reason.
Every second Wednesday of the month we will be having a drop in art project for children of all ages (4+yrs)! Each month we will have a theme to go with what is happening that month. The cost for each child is $5 and it will be held from 4-4:30pm throughout the entire year.
