Branson, Missouri, is where music, magic, and comedy come together in spectacular fashion. Known as the “Live Entertainment Capital of the World,” this Ozarks town offers a dazzling variety of shows for all ages and tastes.
Start your journey with the heart of Branson—its country music scene. For over two decades, Clay Cooper’s Country Express has wowed audiences with its mix of toe-tapping country tunes and dynamic dance routines. This high-energy show features 27 talented entertainers, delivering nonstop excitement.
For over 66 years, Branson’s Famous Baldknobbers has been a favorite for visitors of all ages. As the city’s first and longest-running show, it blends country hits, hilarious comedy, and a touch of classic rock and gospel.
Another country classic is The Duttons, known from America’s Got Talent and RFD-TV. This family band combines bluegrass, country, and classical to create a unique, timeless sound.
The performers at Grand Country Music Hall are some of the hardest working in town, with a full lineup including Grand Jubilee, Comedy Jamboree, Pets and Giggles, Down Home Country, New South Gospel, Ozarks Country, Ozarks Gospel, and Branson Country USA. If you love country and comedy, you’ll love these shows.
Family-friendly variety shows also thrive in Branson. The Hughes Brothers feature 50+ entertainers in a dynamic mix of singing, dancing, and comedy. For a modern twist, SIX®—a vocal group of six brothers—creates a full-band sound using only their voices. Their harmonies and beatbox-style percussion make for a one-of-akind experience.
Similarly, Hamners’ Unbelievable Variety Show blends magic, illusions, singing, and comedy into a fast-paced, surprise-filled performance that keeps the whole family engaged.
Branson shines with family entertainment. The
Haygoods bring harmonies, special effects, and dance to the stage at the Clay Cooper Theatre. The Petersens, another talented family band, share original roots music at the Little Opry Theatre while also performing internationally.
For nostalgia lovers, the tribute artists at Legends In Concert bring music’s biggest names back to life, from Elvis Presley to Freddie Mercury and Willie Nelson to The Blues Brothers™. With a rotating cast, there’s always someone new to see.
#1 Hits of the 60s and More is a high-energy tribute show covering 50s, 60s, and 70s hits with over 100 songs and costume changes that will have you singing along and reminiscing.
At the Mickey Gilley Grand Shanghai Theatre, you’ll find a mix of awe-inspiring and heartwarming performances. The Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai defy gravity with jawdropping stunts, while The Texas Tenors blend country, classical, and Broadway. Don’t miss Rick Thomas: Mansion of Dreams, a mesmerizing magic show with grand illusions and captivating storytelling.
Shepherd of the Hills in Branson brings history to life with its legendary outdoor drama based on the Harold Bell Wright novel. Guests can also enjoy lively indoor shows at the Playhouse Theatre like the Million Dollar Quartet and the Great American Chuckwagon Dinner Show, featuring cowboy songs, comedy, and a hearty Ozarks meal. Continue your historical journey at Sight & Sound Theatre with David, a powerful biblical production featuring epic sets, moving performances, and stirring music.
The King’s Castle Theatre features fan favorites like Anthems of Rock, The Ultimate 70s Show, New Jersey Nights, and the international sounds of the Dublin Tenors and Celtic Ladies. During the holidays, Branson’s Christmas Wonderland becomes a seasonal must-see.
Comedy takes center stage, too. Yakov Smirnoff blends humor and heart with stories from his immigrant experience and love for America. Branson Murder Mystery offers an interactive dinner show with a hilarious whodunit plot, quirky characters, and plenty of laughs.
Branson also delivers when it comes to tribute shows. Simon and Garfunkel: The Sound of Simon and Garfunkel takes you back to the 60s with pitch-perfect renditions. Hot Hits celebrates Motown with tributes to The Temptations, Four Tops, and Spinners—ideal for fans of soulful classics.
Fans of Broadway-style productions will enjoy Cadenza Productions, which offers an eclectic mix of theatrical and musical performances including A Tribute to the King, Country Forever, and Once Upon a Fairytale and more. Whether you’re into rock, country, or classic theater, Cadenza delivers it all at the Majestic Theatre.
At the heart of it all is the Mansion Theatre for the Performing Arts, one of Branson’s most iconic venues. Since 1993, it has hosted major stars and Broadway-style productions. Be sure to check their schedule for limited engagements.
Branson’s live entertainment scene is one of the most diverse and thrilling in the country. Whether you are here for a few days or a week, the city’s performances promise unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime

Featured on the cover of this year’s PlayBranson Magazine, The Sound of Simon & Garfunkel at Hamners’ Variety Theatre is more than a tribute— it’s a heartfelt celebration of the music that defined a generation.
At its core, the show honors the iconic harmonies and poetic storytelling of Simon & Garfunkel. Beloved hits like “The Sound of Silence,” “Mrs. Robinson,” “Cecilia,” and “Homeward Bound” are performed with emotional authenticity and vocal finesse. But the experience doesn’t stop there.
Audiences are also treated to songs from Paul Simon’s solo career and timeless hits by fellow artists of the era such as James Taylor, John Denver, and The Everly Brothers. It’s a nostalgic and wellrounded musical journey through the sounds of the 60s and 70s.
Frontmen James Allen and Stephen Odom lead with stunning harmonies and engaging energy, but it’s far from a two-man act. The show features Josh Carroll on drums, bass, and acoustic guitar, and Jacob Nelson on lead guitar—both of whom have standout moments on stage. The band isn’t
just background—they’re a key part of the show’s heart and personality.
Filled with playful banter and audience interaction, no two performances are exactly alike. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the cozy setting at Hamners’ Variety Theatre—with intimate seating and pristine acoustics—makes it feel like

as the meal.
For a casual, family-friendly vibe, Jackie B. Goode’s Uptown Cafe and Dinner Theatre delivers daily live music with classic American fare. From Elvis and Johnny Cash tributes to gospel and country tunes, every meal is accompanied by toe-tapping talent.
Mel’s Hard Luck Diner brings 1950s nostalgia to life with talented servers, cooks, and bussers who also happen to be professional singers and musicians. While you enjoy a classic diner meal, you’ll be serenaded with favorite hits from decades past. With retro decor and inspiring performances, it’s a Branson gem that’s as heartfelt as it is fun.
And if you’re after stunning views on land, Top of the Rock delivers. Choose from Osage Restaurant, Buffalo Bar, or Arnie’s Barn—all offering scenic dining and upscale menus. It’s a perfect place to wind down and take it all in.
