Respectable resting place Pitman Cemetery, which contains the grave of a Revolutionary War veteran, has undergone an extensive restoration thanks to the local community By Brett Auten For over 15 years, they have been trying to bring Pitman Cemetery back to some semblance of its former self. Located near Highway K in Cottleville, the Pitman Cemetery is the resting place of one of St. Charles’ Revolutionary War veterans.
