A busy Main Street hosted the 32nd Annual Car and Bike Show on Saturday

The weather stayed perfect for this year’s Car and Bike show, which ended right on time with the first drop of rain. The yearly tradition brought in people and cars from all around Idaho and surrounding states, and raised over $3000 for this year’s recipient, the Malad PTO. Funds were raised

through entrance fees and donations. This year’s Best in Show winner was a 1957 Handyman 150 owned by Albert Weeden. Main Street remained closed for the duration of the event, which ran from 9:00-4:00 on Saturday. A number of vendors were on hand, as well as the

Fair Board’s Raffle table. The cars, bikes, and trailers on display ranged from early 30s coupes all the way to modern performance cars, with a little bit of everything in between. After a long day of relaxing and enjoying the company of other car

Museum Opens for Season Over 100 plates of cookies, brownies, and muffins, cakes, and loaves of bread were sold during the Oneida Pioneer Museum’s Grand Opening Bake Sale on Saturday, May 28. Provided by Museum Board members and friends, the goodies attracted dozens of visitors to the Museum on its opening day. All proceeds from the bake sale and all donations will go toward remodeling projects in the Museum, including installing earthquake tension bars and sheet-rocking the rooms on the third floor. Some visitors came to see the newly cleaned and refurbished bear. Others brought donations, including an auto-knitter that was used by Rula Yearsley Gowers to make socks. Visitors enjoyed the scenes featuring items from the Museum’s collection that are located throughout the Museum. They were set up by JoAnn Peters and Brianne MacDougal as part of the fabric preservation project so there are new things to see at the Museum this year. The Museum windows were decorated by Dotty Evanson, Sharon Har-

hounds, a full slate of awards were given out. More pictures, and complete list of winners inside on Page 2. 32 ANNUAL CAR & BIKE SHOW On Page 2
