Through an organic growth process, the Musson Group is currently a diversified conglomerate with interests in manufacturing, insurance, food distribution, pharmaceutical distribution, telecom distribution, brokerage for development and other sectors. But, for most of its life, Musson has been a central player in the business of food manufacturing and distribution in Jamaica. Eliminating hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture has therefore been a high priority on the foundation’s agenda. The Musson Foundation makes regular food donations to primary and trade schools, supporting the student’s health and nutrition.
The Musson Foundation’s mission is to make a positive impact on our communities while considering sustainability. We believe that our communities contribute to our business, and we have an important role to play in ensuring a safe, inclusive, resilient and equitable environment for all Jamaicans. It is important to address inequality in our communities, as we remain responsive to their needs. The Musson Foundation is therefore supportive of partnerships aimed at implementing lasting solutions to reduce violence, deliver justice, combat corruption, ensure freedom of speech and ensure inclusive social and political participation.
