'Resonate' Announces 2019 Return With New Creative Hub And Pledge For Gender Balance Back for the third year running, RESONATE is one of the year’s unmissable events for industry professionals, musicians, music students and diehard music fans. Returning to the glorious setting of Barras Art & Design Centre on Thursday 14th November, RESONATE has firmly cemented itself in one of the UK’s most vibrant musical cities, Glasgow. Built on four integral pillars; collaboration, creativity, accessibility and development, RESONATE is passionate about bringing its ethos of industry training, business development and innovation to Glasgow’s ever-evolving music industry. This year’s aims are clearer than ever with RESONATE also aiming to create a safe, friendly platform that encourages individuals from the musical community to engage with one another. This year RESONATE also welcomes a new break out space, Creative East End. Located less than two minutes away from the central hub of BAaD, the new space will feature a variety of workshops and an opportunity for delegates to conduct meetings. The event is also proud to announce that they have pledged to PRS Foundation’s Keychange Programme which aims to achieve a 50:50 gender balance across festivals and conference programmes by 2020.

Building on their ethos of promoting creativity and opportunities for development, RESONATE will be also be running additional live events in the lead up to the main conference event. Each event will focus on one specific genre , showcasing a vast range of musicians from an array of musical backgrounds. With a commitment to be an inclusive event, RESONATE are introducing their new deposit scheme which will allow delegates to reserve their ticket with an initial £25 payment. Two more subsequent payments of £25 will then secure the full day delegates pass. In addition to this new payment plan, there will be the introduction of a student discount pass which will be available for those who hold a valid student card at the time of purchase.
