This recital is presented as a degree requirement for a Bachelor of Music in music education.
Robert McCarl is a senior music education major at University of the Pacific. He has performed with Stockton Concert Band, Stockton Civic Theater, Solano Symphony and toured with Delta Wind Bands. McCarl is also a percussion director for the Oakland Youth Symphony in Dublin. He has studied percussion with Brian Kendrick and Jonathan Latta. After graduation, he plans to teach in the public school system and hopes to pursue a master’s in music education.
